Process optimisation
Design of processes and process optimisation.
The effectiveness and efficiency of business processes has to be continually put to the test. The design and optimisation of such processes have a great influence on company performance.
We support you with comprehensive experience in your efforts to become a process-oriented company. We have been involved in the reorganisation of processes in all functional areas of the company.
The special advantage of our approach is that we effect the design and optimisation of business processes together with the people in the company. This knowledge is contributed from the very beginning and provides you with the certainty that the solution really fits your company and that your staff identify with the solution. This promotes and accelerates the implementation.
The JP process model is simple and transparent, and does without software support. This facilitates and promotes discussion when the processes are integrated by the project team.
All process levels — business, main and part processes as well as activities — are described clearly and documented in detail. Value creation, tasks and responsibility are defined for those involved in processes.
Key data enable the analysis of process performance. Its constant improvement can flow into structured CIP appearances and individually agreed targets.
Gaining a head start by optimum processes and clear division of responsibilities — here you have an overview of the JP process model:
The contents of the process work are:
- description of the business, main and part processes as seen from the customer interface
- orienting processes to customer expectations
- defining the contribution of all processes to value creation
- defining the tasks, skills and responsibilities of those in charge of processes
- depicting the internal customer-supplier chain
- defining key data, describing actual and target values
- deciding on tools, methods and procedures
- creating a process diagram
- identifying process obstacles and determining measures for removing them
- defining the information and communication architecture
- documenting all processes
The approach is structured in such a way that a cross-functional project group is formed after the business processes to be dealt with have been defined.
Instead of developing a time-consuming process analysis the future process organisation is immediately defined in a joint discussion. The procedure is highly efficient and leads to a greater level of acceptance from all those involved, which increases the success potential of the implementation stage.
By developing the solution independently staff acquire a high level of know-how about the processes within the company. This knowledge about the methods involved can then be applied to such tasks as process improvement.
